A desperate search is currently in progress for a 15-year-old boy who mysteriously vanished while swimming at Old Bar Beach, located on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.
Emergency responders received a call around 5 PM on Friday after concerns were raised about the boy's safety when he failed to return from his swim.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black boardshorts, which has been noted by authorities.
In response to this alarming situation, multiple agencies, including the Marine Area Command, the Westpac helicopter team, and Surf Life Saving NSW, have mobilized to conduct a thorough search of the area.
